Ryan's school activities

Ryan has been going to preschool for 6 months now, and so far we've been fairly impressed by the number of activities they've planned for the kids. Plus, starting around 2 months ago, the class started posting daily reports of the day's activities. Here are some of the pictures that Ryan's teacher took…

Practicing with kids' chopsticks (which are really more like tongs)…

The teacher asked for one volunteer to bring eggs for a class activity, but due to a miscommunication, every parent brought in a dozen eggs…and so began the recurring WORLD OF EGGS cooking lesson.

For Chinese New Years, the class cooked fried rice for lunch. Also, I was asked to give a brief presentation to explain the holiday. I went prepared with about 5 minutes of material, but I couldn't keep their attention for more than a minute. It didn't help that Brooke was setting up pastries for them on the other side of the room.

Mr. Otter is the class pet. Mr. Otter doesn't like spending weekends alone at school, so he stays at the home of a different child each weekend. Mr. Otter goes wherever the child goes. Here's Ryan's weekend with Mr. Otter…

I'm sorry to say, but these pictures are not up to the photographic standards we've come to expect. Maybe you can get away with this on Facebook, but not on ABV. If you're just gonna mail it in and take pictures with your phone, just join Facebook already. Are you on Facebook yet?
